SKIP's mission is to provide affordable, safe, peace-of-mind childcare for working families in our community. With state budget cuts over the past year some families have been hit especially hard with income reductions AND a loss of most or all of their state assistance. That puts a strain on SKIP financially and emotionally as we balance the desire to fulfill our mission and maintain non-profit budget while providing quality programs.
